Can I make QR codes without paying?
Yes. Website and Wi-Fi codes, local artwork, batch exports and print layouts are free, with no sign-in required. Composition and downloads do not use credits.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Credit packs are one-time purchases. Purchased credits do not expire and never renew automatically. Each pack offers the same AI features; larger packs include more credits.
How credits and usage are calculated
AI planning uses measured tokens (about 8 credits for a typical Flash plan; Pro about 24). Up to 100 credits, or your available balance if lower, are reserved. Unused credits return automatically.
100 credits: about 12 ordinary Flash plans or 4 Pro plans.
$4.99 buys 1,000 credits: about 125 ordinary Flash plans or 41 Pro plans.
AI artwork costs 50 credits per generated background. Planning examples assume 2,000 input and 500 output tokens per successful plan: 8 credits with Flash or 24 with Pro. These are examples, not guaranteed counts. Batch planning is charged by AI usage, not QR code count.
Flash is the default. Pro costs about three times as much for the same uncached token usage. If Flash validation fails, only the successful Pro attempt is charged. Local planning, clarification questions, failures and cancellations are free.
Short request limits and daily AI cost capacity apply. Accounts holding purchased credits have separate capacity from free-only accounts. Temporary reservations are not daily usage charges.
What happens to my daily credits?
You receive 100 free Agent credits each day after signing in. Daily credits expire at 00:00 UTC and do not roll over. They are used before purchased credits.
